101 Dalmatians!!

Wow! What a fun week. Joanna starred in the Theatre Company's production of 101 Dalmatians Kids. They practiced over the Christmas break and then shows ran from Thursday, Jan 5th thru Saturday, Jan 7th and they were all FANTASTIC!

Now for a slower week :-)

Thanksgiving week, it's here....

Well here we are at another Thanksgiving week with a big event planned for Thursday at our house. Can't wait to get everyone together and celebrate how thankful we are for all we have, especially family. Holly and I are really looking forward to it.

Joanna and I went to the opening night game for A&M men's basketball last night and it was great. A&M won 88-44 in a contest that wasn't as close as it sounds. We're going again Tuesday night to see them play Mississippi State.

The fourth Harry Potter movie was great. Since mom's still recovering, she gave her ticket to Tanner who went with Cameron, Joanna and me on Friday night. Everyone's older and much wiser in this one. I just wish it had been 6 hours long so they could have put every detail of the book in there. The Goblet of Fire is by far my favorite book.

Cade's bigger, Cameron's at camp, Joanna's dancing...

As you can see, Cade's getting bigger - Happy Meals will do that to you :-) Cameron's at Camp Bandina this week and Joanna has dance practice everyday. Angela's been working and sleeping in Joanna's bed while Joanna babysits Cade. Christopher has been taking care of 117 great kids in the hill country this week (a record for Camp of the Hills if I'm not mistaken).

It's been a great summer but it's coming to an end all too quickly!

Star Wars Episode III - Highly Recommended!!

Wow! SW EP 3 is great! Cameron and I went to the 12:01am showing of Star Wars Episode 3 - Revenge of the Sith last night (actually early this morning). I think it was the best of all 6 of the Star Wars movies. It really brings everything together nicely, because after all, it ends where it all began.

On another note, Joanna started volleyball this week and seems to love it! It's a short season just like basketball but it'll be fun.

Summer is less than a week away now for the kids, and their calendars are filling up fast. Lots of stuff to do and places to go.

Cade is getting bigger all the time - 7 months old in just a few days. He swam in the Emerald Forest pool for the first time with his mom and grandmommy on Wednesday afternoon and loved it! I'm sure he'll be back many times this summer.

We're off to Austin on Friday, May 20th for James Wilson's wedding, in which Christopher is performing the ceremony. Should be fun.

Until later...may the force be with you.
